Why does the dating pool for women in their 40’s and 50’s seem to be significantly lacking men of the same age? Is it because it’s more socially acceptable, or at least more common, for a man in this group to date a younger woman? What if the women were dating younger men? What if younger men were enticed by the wisdom, confidence and sexiness of an older woman?

And what if older women could re-evaluate the potential of a relationship with a younger man? In ALMOST FIFTY we’ll see if the music of Styx and Dennis DeYoung can help co-workers Corrie and Kevin bridge the gap.

Lorin Davis is originally from Oregon but has spent most of her years in Los Angeles. She has studied with masters Sanford Meisner, Jeff Corey, Milton Katselas and Jeffrey Tambor. Lorin wrote and directed the short film, “Almost Fifty,” and just completed two seasons of the series, “Get Spy.”
