Kalawa (Hawaiian for “curves of a road”) is a short film that showcases my journey from the dormant volcano Haleakala on Maui, Hawaii; through the lens of a color correcting waveforms scope. This film was produced at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and was featured at the CalArts 2015 Film/Video Showcase.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Sara Celeste Martin is an award-winning Filmmaker & Cinematographer that has been featured in 50+ Film Festivals (such as the Hawaii International Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival and the POW Fest in 2012). She is currently a BFA 4 at CalArts, studying Film & Video.
